BSc Business Computing

This interdisciplinary degree blends the broad spectrum of Information Technologies, (electronic offices, programming, databases, and the internet) along with the core areas of Business (management accounting, marketing and management economics, law and finance). Graduates will be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to understand business functions and to analyze user information requirements in order to develop and implement information systems.

Through a combination of theory and practical experience You’ll learn to intuitively determine a dynamic mix of processes that allow information delivery systems to fulfil their tasks within an organisation. You’ll also be able to recognize that an organization is one that is constantly changing and evolving and how the information systems of that organisation must be able to adapt to these changes and the demands of users.

In your second year, you’ll sharpen your IT and computing skills through practical workshops and project work. Our faculty members will share their research getboardroom.net/logitech-g203-software-review knowledge with you, and you’ll have the chance to take part in an industrial placement year where you’ll be able to put your new skills to use in a real-world environment.

Our teaching methodology is built on the most recent technological advancements, and we focus on the application of emerging technologies in business contexts. You’ll be able to choose from a variety of courses including Big Data Analytics, Informatics Strategy and Management and e-Business Technology. The course is supplemented by regular guest speakers from top companies that will help demonstrate the practical relevance of the subject you’re studying as well as the career prospects for our graduates.
